@Andy: Do i need to try and find the H.264 codec for my PC ?, where would i get that from?
I haven't tried any of this on Windows. I've only grabbed files from the camera, played them back in QuickTime on Mac OS X, and put them into iMovie.
As far as I know, H.264 is the "native" compression format for QuickTime on both Mac and Windows, and is used for all iTunes Store video content. Assuming iTunes videos look good on your machine, these files should work, but I honestly don't know much about video on Windows.
